A few days before our session, I will check in to confirm that everything is set. If a family member is not feeling well, please consider rescheduling. We can discuss alternative dates and arrange a new session if needed. I will also ensure that the final session payment for Collection A (the base package) is completed at this time.
CHECK-IN & Final payment
Depending on the session type, I will send you a questionnaire and, if applicable, a style and prep guide to help you prepare. For studio sessions, you’re welcome to borrow from my client closet, which includes a curated collection of beautiful neutral dresses for moms and a variety of outfits for babies. Please note that I also have a limited selection of outfits for dads and siblings. For outdoor family sessions, I have a limited number of dresses for moms and outfits for dads and siblings.
ONCE YOUR DATE IS SECURED
Once you've sent me an inquiry and we have discussed pricing and availability - you will receive a contract and details on how to pay the non - refundable retainer. This will confirm your session and get you booked on my calendar.
BOOKING YOUR SESSION
2-3 weeks after our session, I will send you an email to notify you that the gallery is ready! I will send a slideshow to view and this slideshow will only be available for 24 hours - so it's crucial you don't click on the link to watch it until you're ready. I usually recommend getting comfy on the couch and connecting it to a big screen so you and your family can enjoy it together!
Once you’ve had a chance to view the slideshow and take it all in, you can decide whether to stick with Collection A (the base package you’ve already paid for) or upgrade to a collection that includes more images and print credit. You will have one full month after purchasing your collection to choose which images you’d like to download and how to use your print credit. After one month, the gallery will be taken offline, and a $50 fee will apply to reopen it.
GALLERY DELIVERY
We’ll meet for our session, and you can focus on being present with your family and creating lasting memories. I’ll provide guidance and some posing assistance, but my main goal is to capture what makes your family unique and the special moments you share together.
SESSION DATE
-Studio sessions are primarily scheduled Monday through Friday, typically beginning around 10 am.
-Outdoor sessions are mainly scheduled on weekday evenings, usually a couple of hours before sunset.
- For newborn sessions I suggest sending your inquiry, preferably during your second trimester, including your due date. Once booked, this guarantees a spot within 3 weeks of baby's birth.
-If you're planning to have photographs taken for a specific occasion or holiday, please reach out as early as possible. It can take up to 6 weeks for prints to be ready once ordered from the print store.
